Healthy Modak- Ganpati Special

“Happy Ganesh Chaturthi” Everyone! Have a healthy one

Time to welcome Lord Ganesha

We all know that “Modaks” are favourite of Lord Ganesha and festival of Ganpati is incomplete without them

So My Modaks are ready to be served to Lord Ganesha…..How about you??

Do try this healthy recepie with no ghee,no sugar,no maida & make healthy Modaks with no time


Modak recepie


1 cup wheat flour

1 cup jaggery

1/2 cup fresh malai

1/2 cup grated coconut

7-8 saffron strands soaked in milk

Dry fruits ( cashews & almonds) roasted & powderedElaichi powder.


Dry roast wheat flour till it turn good brown colorAdd Malai& stir for sometime

Then add 2-3 spoon jaggery & cook till jaggery is melted & all are mixed together

Add saffron milk & give a stir

Keep aside the mixture to cool

In another pan heat the jaggery till it melts,now add grated coconut & dryfruit mixture

Let this mixture cool down

Take a Modak mould,first add one layer of wheat flour mixture,then add dry fruit mixture& last layer again of wheat flour as final layer

Press it properly & modaks are ready to be served to Lord Ganesha
