Presentation of food leads to an enjoyable meal
.Any simple food made with simple recepie but presented in different way than usual takes it to a different level and enhances the charm and excitement on the dinner table
I love innovating in my presentation, so today I am sharing the chole bhature presented in Cigars form (totally different way)
Ingredients of bhatura
11/2 cup maida
1/4 cup Suji
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1-2 teaspoon oil
A pinch of ajwain( optional)
1/2 cup curd
1/2 spoon baking powder and baking soda
Preparation
In a bowl add maida, suji, salt, sugar, ajwain & oiland curd
Use water to make a dough
Dough should not be too tight nor too loose.
keep it 2 hours covered or overnight
Roll bhaturas and use some cylinderical mould to give shape of Cigars
Fry them.
Hot bhaturas are ready
Fill in chatpata chola at time of serving and garnish it with onion ,green coriander
Note:- Ajwain is added for a good digestion. You can skip if you dont like.

ingredients of Chola
11/2 cup Chickpeas
2 medium tomato
2 medium Onion
Salt to taste
1 spoon chilli powder
1/2 spoon haldi powder
1-1/2 spoon chola masala
1 pc tej patta(bay leaf)
1 pc badi elaichi
4-5 peppercorns
2 pc laung
2 pc green elaichi
1 spoon chaipatti(tea leaves)
Preparation
Soak chickpeas overnight or atleast 5-6 hours
Make one potli of chaipatti,elaichi,badi elaichi,peppercorns,laung,tej patta.
Tie it tightlyPut soaked chickpeas to Pressure cooker,add potli prepared,salt & turmeric powder
Take 4-5 whistles
Make paste of onion & tomato separately.In a deep pan add oil and cook onion paste on slow flame
Then add tomato paste & cook it again on slow flame for 5-7 min.
Add all masalas and cook for 5 min.Now add chickpeas to the masala
Cook it for 15 min on slow flame
To make it chatpata for adding in bhaturas add both green & tamarind chutney to chola
Now fill chola in bhaturas & serve the yummy Chola bhatura Cigars
