Fresh Peas are available nowadays in the market. Being a winter season we crave to eat something hot, chatpata ,spicy dish everyday
So to fulfil our cravings and also to intake the nutritional values of fresh vegetables available these days, today i am sharing the recepie of Wheat Peas Khulcha, which is healthy and also enjoyable in this season with fresh peas available.Although you can make it with frozen peas too but the taste of fresh peas khulcha is different and Yumm.
Recepie
Kulcha ingredients
11/2 cup wheat flour
1/2 spoon salt
1/2spoon yeast
1/2 spoon sugar
1 cup warm water
2 spoon oil
Preparation Take a bowl, add wheat flour & salt, oil & mix with hands
Make a hole in centre, add sugar then yeast & pour 2 spoon warm water on it
Keep it for 1 minutes ,then with warm water knead the dough & cover it with cling & keep it in warm place for 2 hours
After 2 hours dough will rise & is ready for making kulcha
Peas filling ingredients
1 cup peas
1/2 teaspoon chilly ginger paste
Salt to taste
1 spoon oil
1 chopped onion
1/2 teaspoon chilli powder
1/2 teaspoon garam masala
A pinch of haldi powder
1/2 teaspoon amchur powder.
Preparation
Grind the peas in mixer…it should be coarsely ground
Take a pan, heat oil & add chopped onion
Once onion are done add peas mixer & all spices
Let it cook till water evaporates & peas raw taste goes away
Filling is ready
Kulcha preparation
Take a ball of dough, roll it like small chapati
Add 1 spoon peas filling & close the corners & roll it again as chapati
Heat the pan, put the kulcha on pan & cover it with lid, aftersometime remove the lid & change the side
Put butter/ghee on the top
Peaskulcha is ready to serve
