After I posted whole wheat bread with yeast, I received lot of request to share the whole wheat bread recepi without yeast. As due to lockdown many people are not getting yeast in market. Considering the requests, today I am sharing a recepi of whole wheat bread without yeast.
I also received requests saying is Oven necessary to bake a bread, So guys here sharing a recepi which is without yeast and which can be made in kadhai/Pan too.
So lets quickly move to recepi.
1.5 cup Milk
4 tbspn curd
2 cup Wheatflour
1tbsp powdered sugar
1/2 tspn Baking soda
1 tspn Baking powder
2 tbspn Olive oil/ butter/ghee
Oil & butter for greasing
First mix milk & vinegar and keep it aside for 10 min till it cuddles.Milk should be little warm and not hot or frozen
Preheat oven @180°c.If using Pan/Kadhai put one cup salt and Preheat for 10 minutes on low flame
Sieve all the dry ingredients and mix them well with spoon or very light hand, add oil & curd to it.Now add the cuddled milk to make a dough.Pour milk in batches as the flour may or may not require the whole milk. So add according to need, it depends on quality of flour
Please note, do it very light handedly, do not put pressure as it will not allow the bread to rise.The dough will be very sticky, so handle it accordingly. Mix it well with light hand
Let the dough sit for 10 minutes. Keep it covered aside.
Now grease the bread tin with oil and dry flour and pour the batter in it.
Bake it at 180°c for 20 minutes then lower the temperature to 170°c for 30 minutes.
*Important:- Please keep an eye as different oven works differently.
If making in Kadhai then bake it on low flame for approx 40 minutes with lid covered on it. Again to mention , please keep an eye and check if it is baked before 40 minutes.
Loosen the edges of bread from tin when it is hot
Brush it with butter and let it cool completely on rack.
Once cooled,cut slices and store it in air tight box.
