Misal Pav is a maharastrian snack recepi where sprouts are cooked with spicy masala and are served with Pav. The final dish is topped with “farsan” or “sev”, onions, lemon and coriander. It is usually served with bread or rolls toasted with butter and buttermilk or curd and papad.
Misal is prepared in different ways in at different ways, you all must have heard about pune chi misal, Kolhapuri misal etc. Although basic preparation is samee but with little difference in recepi. Like in Pune Misal aloo bhaaji is used as 1st layer of plating. Simple aloo bhaaji made of boiled Aloo.So every place has its speciality in preparing the misal pav.
This dish is good to have in breakfast or even n Brunch. It is healthy and fulfilling too. It is easily available on streets too and relished by people as famous street food

Ingredients
1 cup sprouted Matki
2 chopped onion
1 chopped tomato
2 spoon green chutney
1 spoon tamarind paste
1/2 spoon cumin seeds
1/2 spoon mustard seeds
5-7 curry leaves
1/2 spoon chilli powder
1/2 haldi powder
1 spoon coriander powder
3-4 spoon goda masala(market bought)
3-4 glass of water
3-4 spoon of oil
A pinch of garam masala
Sev(bhujia) for topping
Green coriander for garnishing
Preparation
In a pan heat oil, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds when they temper add curry leaves
Add 1 chopped onion & cook for sometime. Add green chutney, tamarind paste mix it & chopped tomato
Add all masalas & let it cook on low flame for 2 min.Now add matki & water, mix it well & cover it with lid
Let it boil for 5-7 min on low flame. The more it is boiled on low flame more flavoured it will be.Add a pinch of garam masala
Now for plating
Take a bowl, add misal with tari on top.Garnish with chopped onion, green coriander
Sprinkle mota or mix sev on the top
