Ajwain Panjiri- An Instant Recepi

As we all know we celebrate Janmashtami as birth of Lord Krishna. This day is celebrated all over the world. Celebration starts from 12.00 A.M and continues with Matki Phod( Dahi Handi) throughout the day.

Many People keep fast on this day. As this day is celebrated as Hindu festival, hence feast is prepared in temples or at home to celebrate the day. Prasad is offered to Lord Krishna in addition to Maakhan, which Lord Krishna is most fond of.

Today sharing a very easy and very tasty recepi, which can be prepared instantly to offer as Prasad to Lord Krishna. This Panjiri can be consumed by people having fast

Ajwain Panjiri being tasty is very healthy too to consume. This Panjiri is also given to women after delivery and it helps in good digestion and other benefits immediately after delievery.

Ingredients

1 cup ajwain

1 cup jaggery ( equal to ajwain)

1 cup ghee

1/2 cup gond

1/2 cup grated dry coconut

A fistful of almonds crushed coarsely

Preparation

Heat ghee in a Pan, fry gond in it . Take out gond & keep it aside,add jaggery and let it melt on low flame

Grind ajwain in a mixer

Once the jaggery melts add ajwain to the mixture of ghee & jaggery

Mix it properly so no lumps are formed and put off the flame.Now add gond, coconut and almonds to it

Mix it properly and serve
