Malai Do Pyaaza – An Easy and Quick Recipe

In summer and monsoon season the most difficult question we women have in mind is “Aaj kya Sabji banaau”?. Due to limited veggies available in market we get bore to eat the same veggies repeatedly

Onion is one vegetable which is available in all household in all seasons and there are variety of dishes which we can make using onions like onion paratha, onion aalu ki sabji both dry and gravy one, onion ki sabji and many more.

If you get bore eating the same sabji again and again and want to try something interesting with using same limited ingredients. So our todays recipe is using all available ingredients at home with a unique and rich taste.

Malai do Pyaaza is a very easy and quick recipe to make with very regular ingredients but gives a rich taste to the dish. Lets see how we make this easy yet rich taste recipe

Ingredients

5-7 Onions

2 spoon ghee

2 bay leaf

2 Kashmiri lal mirch

3-4 green chillies

3-4 tomatoes ( make puree)

1 cup fresh cream/malai

1 tspn jeera

11/2 spoon red chilli powder

1/2 spoon haldi powder

Salt to taste

2 spoon coriander (dhaniya) powder

1/2 spoon garam masala

coriander leaves to garnish

Prepearation

Heat ghee in a pan, add bay leaf, cumin seeds,Kashmiri chilli

Put slit on onion and add to pan

Let them cook a little, add tomato puree to it

Cover it with lid and let it cook for 2-3 minutes

Then add green chillies to it and cook again

Now add cream/malai to it and keep stirring it so that it does not cuddle

Now add garam masala and cook it till it leaves ghee

Garnish it with coriander leaves

Serve hot with roti/ naan/ tandoori roti
